The master's program "Security Management", lasting two years and totaling 120 ECTS credits, is designed to meet the advanced training needs of bachelor's graduates from fields such as law, public administration, international relations, political science, or related areas. It offers a strategic opportunity to deepen and expand knowledge and skills in the field of security, in a context marked by complex and dynamic challenges. The main goal of the program is to train specialists capable of efficiently managing processes and policies in the field of public and private security, by integrating an interdisciplinary perspective and critical, analytical thinking. The emphasis is on developing a rigorous theoretical foundation, doubled by advanced practical skills necessary for identifying, assessing, and solving contemporary risks and threats. The curriculum includes modern methods of analysis and intervention, supported by applied research, case studies, and internships in relevant institutions, thus providing students with real experience and direct contact with the professional environment. The program aims to prepare competent staff for essential areas such as civil and public security, protection of critical infrastructures, border security, migration and asylum management, as well as for related services involved in maintaining order and protecting democratic values. Graduates will have advanced skills in human and material resource management, planning and implementing security strategies, coordinating preventive and operational actions, and using specialized technologies and platforms for monitoring, preventing, and managing threats.
